Dr. Jacobs Obamedo is a graduate from the University of Nigeria Nsuka, with honors Degree in Economics/Sociology. In his mid-twenties was coordinator of the Children Evangelism Ministry then in Bendel State, Nigeria. He also worked with the then British company, John Holt Firm, as an assistant Sales Manager in Benin City, Nigeria.

Dr. Obamedo moved to London where he attended Hampstead Bible School, London and was Pastor for Hither Green Gospel Assembly, Torridon Road, Lewisham, London SE6 1TG. He later moved to the United States of America where he attended the Institute of Technology, Jersey City, New Jersey, and he is a Certified Computer Network Engineer (CCNA, CCNP). Dr. Obamedo worked with AT&T as a Technical Engineer and with Everest Broad Band Network, Fort Lee New Jersey, as Production Engineer. 

Dr. Obamedo and his wife Felicia Obamedo cofounded The Ministry of the Word International and House of Prayer, a growing Church, where he is currently the Senior Pastor and wife co-pastor. They have four children. Dr. Obamedo is never content to do anything halfheartedly; his passion is to devote himself totally and completely to teaching and preaching God’s Word. Dr. Obamedo therefore retired from I C M S Crawford, New Jersey and currently in ministry full time. Dr. Obamedo is a deliverance minister. He graduated with Master’s Degree in Theology from Lighthouse Christian College, Beebe Arkansas and a doctoral degree in Theology from Christian Outreach Bible Institute College Seminary, Fayetteville, North Carolina.

Dr. Obamedo has a passionate love for God and his Word, for more than thirty years he has preached the Word and he is the author of **How To Charge Your Faith**.
